Melissa Ayrado, MA, LMFT Associate
Your Idaho Falls Therapist
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate working with clients in early childhood through adults, both individually and in a family setting. I work with children and families struggling with a variety of life stage challenges, trauma, and disorders that affect academics. I specialize in the treatment of adolescent adjustment disorders, self harm, suicide ideation, and childhood behavioral disorders. I also specialize in helping clients work through trauma, depression, anxiety and career burn out.
I received my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Abilene Christian University where I was on the Dean’s List, a member of the Alpha Ki Honor Society, and the MFT Honor Society. While working on my degree I spent five years as a high school English teacher, where I worked with a great number of teens with academic disabilities. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family therapy, and began practice in 2021. My hope is to help individuals and families flourish, and I look forward to helping you on your wellness journey.
