Alexcia Riley, LPC
Your Idaho Falls & Rexburg Therapist
Asking for help isn’t easy. Especially if one has been invalidated, misunderstood, or outright ignored. Because of this, our struggles with mental health often go unaddressed and manifest through depression, anxiety, fear, or anger. This can wreak havoc on our relationships, families, jobs, and daily life. It can lead us to feel hopeless, unmotivated, and stuck. Alexcia’s goal is to work alongside you to get unstuck and create a life that is not just manageable, but fulfilling and full of joy. She has experience working alongside individuals who struggle with PTSD, depression, body dysmorphia, anxiety, self-harm, anger & codependency.
Alexcia’s integrative therapy style allows her to utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other treatment modalities including but not limited to compassion-focused therapy and positive psychotherapy. She is a LGBTQ ally and feminist. Alexcia believes we all have unlimited potential.
It is Alexcia’s goal to help individuals recognize their strengths, identify their personal goals, and assist them in achieving those goals. She acknowledges and appreciates that everyone’s journey is different and that therapy isn’t a ‘one size fits all’.
